7th Novel By Kligman Released - Hakoah

Harris L. Kligman, author of Spy, Adventure, Mystery and Historical novels, unveils his newest book release. "Hakoah" is a historical novel that follows the lives of a young man and woman who become intertwined as they struggle to survive during the Zealots' rebellion, 66-70 AD, against Roman rule in Judaea.

Confronted with hostility and death from mercenaries, Roman Legionnaires and their own people, they discover something that binds them together as they struggle to live for another day.

According to Harris L. Kligman, "as a student of history I was always fascinated with Rome, and the Roman Legion. The legionnaires were an elite group of soldiers, the very best military organization of their time. Roman military policies were the primary reason for the expansion of the Roman empire.

A legionnaire had to be over 17 years old and a Roman citizen. Every new recruit had to be fighting-fit. Anyone who was weak or too short was rejected. Legionnaires signed up for at least 25 years of service.

Legionnaires were trained in the latest tactics of war and were well equipped. As the Roman Empire grew, the army consisted of men captured during those wars and formed into auxiliary units. By the year 211 the number of legionnaires grew to a peak of approximately 450,000 men in 33 Legions and about 400 auxiliary units."

"Kill Alexis Markovic," "Her Father's Daughter" and "The Shaolin Covenant" audio books are also available for purchase through Audible, iTunes and Amazon. Audible stores will distribute each title in the US, UK, Canada, Germany, France, Australia, and Japan.
